Ted has participated in the valuation and sale of more than 2,000 companies.  Revenues of the companies served have ranged from $100,000 to $50,000,000.

A pioneer in the practice of business sales and valuation, Ted is recognized nationally as an authority on the subjects.  He is contributing author of “Handbook of Business Valuations” and “Mergers and Acquisitions Handbook for small and midsize companies”, both published by John Wiley & Sons. His book “In and Out of Business...Happily” and the companion software “VALUware 6.0” or  EZbizPRICER 2.0 (business valuation software) and “Buying a Business Made Easier” and companion Business Acquisition System Software, “DealMaker 4.0”, "Interpreting Financial Statements for Business Acquisition - A Layman's Guide" and "MBA on Disk.2.0" (Business Analysis software) as well as "DealMaker.docs" (Business Acquisition Documentation software) are published by Parker-Nelson Publishing. 

He has conducted seminars and addressed trade groups in this country, Canada and abroad on business transfer and valuation issues and has authored numerous articles on subjects surrounding business transfers and valuations.

Prior to founding Lighthouse Financial, LLC, Ted, in 1979, established The Burbank Group, Intermediaries.  Ted brings the expertise and experience gained in valuing and selling more than 2,000 companies to Lighthouse Financial, LLC
